Two CUC DT Stamp Fairy cards

Our Craft Us Crazy #6 challenge is still going on. You still have a wee bit of time to enter your "THINKING OF YOU w/SENTIMENT and/or ANIMALS" creations. We're so proud of our monthly sponsor for April. It's the FABulously cuuuuuute Stamp Fairy. They also have tons of freebies for you to play with & color to your heart's content. So please stop by & see their cute, cute, cute images.

This is the adorable Stamp Fairy Lenny Bear with flowers that they so generously gave me to play with. Doesn't he look so cute & huggable. I had so much fun with this card. It's full of girlie pinks & greens (my FAVorite color combo) & flowers & swirls. I tried to tone down the glitter (which is hard for me) since I had so much foo foo going on. LOL I colored him with my Copic markers.

I used my Nesties and my Magnolia Doohickey die cuts Swirl & Leaf and Romantic Lace. Recollections pink flowers are from Michael's (they had so many other pretty colors too....yellows, reds, blues, oranges, neutrals, etc.). My DP came from K&Company "Susan Winget's Spring Blossom" which can be found at JoAnn's Crafts. The little butterfly was cut using my Martha Stewart "monarch butterfly" punch.

This card is going to my daughter-in-law for her birthday. We share the same day (although she's much much younger.....LOL). And since I'm a twin I also share it with my twin brother. LOL

I'm entering this card in these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: emboss (I've embossed the background yellow DP & the circle behind Lenny)
Creative Inspirations: pets / animals
Cute Card Thursday: No text
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge: #99 Flowers
Digi Doodle Shop's Best: Glitter / Glitz
Prairie Fairy: #51 April showers bring May flowers
Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge: Springtime

The FABulous Stamp Fairy also gave me this darling image to play with. Isn't she a cutie! Her name is Patsy April Showers 4 and you can pick her up for a play date at Stamp Fairy.

This is a birthday card to celebrate our Color Me Creative first birthday. Yay! Our challenge was to make a primary color card with our Copic markers & I thought Patsy would look so cute in a yellow raincoat. If you want to learn how to color with your Copic markers then you'll want to sign up for a class with Suzanne Dean. She is our FABulous teacher & she knows everything there is to know about coloring with your Copics. She has wonderful online classes where you can learn at your own pace while watching her great videos.

I colored Patsy with my Copic markers and used NitWit Collections Happy Born Day & Summer Splash for my DP (decorative papers). The ribbon, sunflower button, swirl & bling are all from my stash.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:
Paper Sundaes: Challenge #66 Sundae Bar - use at least 2 of these toppings: Sparkle, Pearls, Die Cuts & the Colour Yellow
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: #79 Children's cards

Thanks so much for looking & for leaving your sweet comments. This card is going to a very sweet young girl name Tera for her special birthday.

CUC DT Praying Teddie Bear card

It's that time again! Craft Us Crazy challenge #6 is here & this time we would love to see your "Thinking of You with Sentiment and/or Animals" creations. To me what says "Thinking of You" more than telling someone that you're praying for them.

We want to thank all of you who have entered our Craft Us Crazy challenges. Our last challenge had over 260 entries.....and what beautiful creations we have seen. We now have over 270 followers! That's simply amazing for a brand new challenge blog. Thank you so much for your support! We couldn't do it without each & every one of you!

Robyn's Fetish is the sponsor of our "Thinking of You" challenge & they very generously donated this cute, cute, cute little bear praying next to the bed. How precious is that!

Such a sweet & tender hearted little bear! It's called "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep". Sooooo precious! This sweet graphic had such a vintage feel to it that I decided to paper piece the quilt on the bed.......just like a 'real' quilt.....only without the sewing & no pricked fingers! In fact when my oldest son was little (over 30 years ago) I made him a quilt out of these very same colors. The paper piecing was a little ambitious for me but I managed to get it done without too much hair pulling. LOL I used NitWits DP for the quilt as well as all of the background. The rest was colored with my Copics.

This sweet sentiment was a freebie from Create with TLC. Paulette has such a wide range of lovely graphics & sentiments perfect for every occasion. She has also very generously given away more than 2,000 graphics & sentiments on her Create with TLC blog.

Remember that our monthly sponsor is Stamp Fairy. They have a FANtastic 50% sale going on right now so hurry on over there to pick up some of their darling designs. I don't know when the sale ends but I'm hoping I can take some of those cutie patooties home with me before it does.....LOL (money is really really really tight right now.....squeak, squeak, squeak). ***Note: sale is over.....boohoo
I followed this great sketch #150 from Sketch Saturday for my card design.....but I flipped it over.
